This is my favourite topic! My great passion for Maltese dogs is very well known. I've created a Web site, Maltese'R'Us, which is dedicated to showing the world how cute my dogs are and it's been on the Net since 1994. I've made lots of friends through this Maltese dogs Web site. My Maltese dogs are so cute. You'll fall in love with them too! There are lots of dog photos on their site.
Harry came from England on Jan. 23, 2008. He came from a well-respected show dog family. Harry is like a shy kid. He would approach you carefully and then warm up to you in a couple of hours. He has never seen snow before he got here. But, he just LOVES it! He runs, hops and even eats snow!
Stella was born in Southern California on April 18th, 2009. She's not shy at all. She's a fun-loving, sugar pup who never runs short of kisses and energy!
My Other Dogs:
CoCo came into my life in Oct. 1993. He was a very handsome Maltese. I had asked for a girl, but when I saw him it was love at fist sight! He had a cold so he couldn't come home with me that day. I visited him everyday since I met him. A week later, finally, I could take him home. He was a very smart boy and he is very willing to please me. I took him everywhere when he was a puppy, even to the movie theatre! He was really well behaved. No one noticed him, not even my friend who sat beside us! Hahaha. After he was fully grown, it was harder to hide him in my jacket... so he stayed at home most of the time. On Feb. 19th, 2008, we lost CoCo, The Handsome Maltese.
Sunny came in Sept. 1996. He was a very energetic and adventuresome puppy. He was really sick but no one knew because he was so active! He didn't like people petting his head and he had trouble sleeping! I only found out his ears were very badly infected when I gave him a bath that night. And, I realized that was why he hated petting on the head and he woke up every time when he fell asleep and accidentally touched his ears on the side. The next day, I rushed him to the vet. He was a really brave pup! He didn't mind at all when the vets flushed his ears and when I gave him medication in his ears... that must be really uncomfortable! Anyways, since he is very adventuresome, he is always after something... for a while he was the most famous "Troublemaker Maltese" (now, this title has been taken away by my mother's Maltese, Jaguar.) In order to keep an eye on him and make sure he didn't get into trouble, I had to take him in his Sherpa bag to school with me (I was studying at university). I remember once when I left him at home with CoCo... it was like a tornado passed through my bedroom. He was very, very tiny... but very destructive. :-) He got out of his Sherpa bag (somehow I didn't fully zip it up.) He had a wild party with CoCo. He even got on my table and pulled my ivy out of the water in the vase and knocked down my strawberry flavoured lip balm from The Body Shop, bullseye right into his water dish! I always let them lick the "leftovers" on my finger after I use it. That's one of their favorite "treats". He also messed up my bed. CoCo probably helped a bit because I just couldn't believe a little dog like him could move the HUGE body pillow onto the floor all by himself! On Dec. 7th, 2004, we lost our beloved Sundog.
