One side features Harry's happy face and the other side shows my pretty puppies sitting nicely side by side. I love this bag!

It's Earth Day! In addition to recycling and saving energy, let's enjoy nature in honour of Earth Day!
Plant some flowers, go for a walk in the park, fly a kite, take some photos and maybe paint some scenery! Enjoy the outdoors!

I got new puppies! They are not with me yet. They will be here in a week or two! I'm excited about my new dogs! Gerry sent me some photos of them.
Okay... They are not real dogs. :-) These are 3" needle felted Maltese dogs that look like Harry and CoCo! GOURMET FELTED created sculptures of my dogs. Gerry is a very talented needle felting artist!

Tonight is Chinese New Year's Eve and I'm in Edmonton by myself. Earlier this evening, I went to 2008 Fast 50 cocktail reception and accepted the commemorative plaque on Replicon’s behalf.

During lunch, I went out for a walk with Michelle. I saw this neat-looking plant in the floral shop window and I had to have it. The shop lady was out for 10 minutes and we waited there. The lady told us it's a type of Hoya. It's about to bloom!

I was out shopping and Chris called to say that there were deer in our backyard! The Chinese ladies from next door came over to ask if they should call the police or the SPCA because there were big wild animals in our backyard! Well... two were in our backyard and one was in their backyard. Of course not. He told the old ladies not to worry. The deer would only eat some leaves and then go "home."
Three deer spent the whole afternoon in our backyard (and our neighbours'). They must live in the nearby Nose Hill Park. This is the first time they came into our yard. The gate was closed, so they had to leap over the fence. These photos were taken from inside, so there's some reflection from the window. One window has a screen, so it's not as clear.

We had our carpet cleaned today. I also rearranged the furniture in the great room to make room for the party on the 30th.
Chris spent almost 8 hours organizing boxes of stuff, and taking apart the universal gym and stationary bike in the basement. Tomorrow, we'll move most, if not all, of it into garage to get the basement ready for development in Jan. '07.

It's Thanksgiving on Monday in Canada. We went to have Peking Duck dinner tonight. Duck is pretty close to turkey, right?
Bought this mini pumpkin floral arrangement. I think it's very cute.
